Aptorney is the first mobile platform for publishing legal annotations and building an offline library. Featuring full text searches, saved case opinions, custom research, and organized recents. Aptorney can download and search a statute, reference and highlight the text, and search recent case law within 25 seconds.

In addition, Aptorney developed two exclusive longpress menu options; Annotate; and Search. Select statutory or case law text to construct your next annotation with Annotate, or search and highlight selected terms with Search.

Our Research tab supports searches from every jurisdiction in the United States. Custom search millions of cases and sort them by most recent or most relevant. Users are also encouraged to publish annotations for any jurisdiction or statute.

Aptorney currently has statutes available for: (Listed from greatest number of available statutes to the least)

New York
California
Federal
Connecticut
Illinois
Massachusetts
Texas
Arizona
Florida
New Jersey
Pennsylvania

Many additional statutes are under review. We expect to have most statutes from each jurisdiction above, and possibly more, by Fall 2015. We routinely update our available statutes for changes in the law or to improve the user-experience. You can expect most statutes to be updated for form or content at least twice per year.

Annotations Review: Aptorney is founded and maintained by practicing attorneys. We review newly submitted annotations several times per week to ensure they meet our user guidelines and abide by our terms of service. Any annotation that does not appear credible, or contains illogical, or offensive language will be deleted.

Aptorney is free to download and use.

Contributors continue free access by publishing shared annotations and earning credits. Aptorney generously issues credit when annotations are published and deducts fractions of that as main content features are accessed.

Subscribers have continued access to all content, statutes, case law and shared annotations. Subscriber accounts continue to earn credits just like a Contributor, except credits are not deducted unless the subscription is cancelled.

Two subscription options:
- Aptorney monthly subscriber for $7.99
- Aptorney annual subscriber for $59.99

Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel the subscription once activated for that period. Manage your subscriptions account in Account settings after purchase.

Connect with Aptorney for video tutorials, information updates, and to know about promotional offers where you can earn user-credits and even an iPad. If you start by liking and sharing us on Facebook, well share some credits once you create and confirm your Aptorney account.
